This course is designed for participants who have a B1/Intermediate level in French. In class, you will work on oral/written comprehension and discover how the language works using a variety of documents (videos, written and audio) and in context (in many everyday situations).
The teacher will support your learning in carrying out a variety of activities. You will interact with other learners and the teacher. Grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation will be explained and are approached in an active way.
The Cosmopolite B2 is the reference manual. It will be used in class and for supplementary activities.
In addition, the teacher will provide supplementary resources to ensure a variety of materials are studied.

FRENCH COOKING CLASS : PART 1
NEW IN 2025! The Alliance Française de Canberra is bringing back French Cooking Classes with
a new format: a cook-off between our teachers!
Each week, a different teacher will guide you and a small group through preparing a delicious recipe in our kitchen, following a workshop
that introduces the dish and its country or region of origin. At the end of each class, students will rate the dishes,
and the winning recipe will be revealed during the final class.
Make sure to bring a container with a lid so you can take your dishes home at the end of each class!
